President’s Banquet Entertainment | Comedian Cristela Alonzo

The ICCFA is pleased to announce that comedian Cristela Alonzo will perform at the President’s Welcome Reception on the evening of Wednesday, April 30!

Cristela Alonzo made history as the first Latina to create, produce, and star in her own network sitcom, Cristela, for ABC, and she broke new ground again as the first Latina lead in a Disney Pixar film, voicing Cruz Ramirez in Cars 3. A favorite guest host on The View, Cristela also tours the country performing to sold-out audiences, and her two Netflix stand-up specials, Lower Classy and Middle Classy, dive into her experiences growing up in a lower-class, minority household and navigating adult life’s privileges and challenges.

Cristela’s comedy career extends to podcasting as the host of The Hall: Honoring the Greats of Stand-Up, part of Netflix Is a Joke. This season, she delves into the legacies of comedy legends like George Carlin, Joan Rivers, Richard Pryor, and Robin Williams.
