Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Néctar Ramírez holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a Master’s in Human Resource Development from Xavier University. She began her career consulting with Fortune 500 companies before joining Batesville in 2002, where she held leadership roles in market research, sales, cremation, and funeral home training. Over the past two decades, Néctar has worked with hundreds of funeral homes to strengthen cremation and burial performance—often increasing cremation revenue by 30% or more—and has presented state and national education programs for more than 22 years.
