Marc Markell is an educator and expert in death education and grief studies. He teaches at Worsham College of Mortuary Science and Edgewood College and is a professor emeritus at St. Cloud State University. He also leads Death Education for Children at Mayflower United Church of Christ.

Marc holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota and is a certified Thanatologist with certifications in Death and Grief Studies, Crematory Operations, and Celebrant Services. He has presented at conferences locally, nationally, and internationally.

A published author, Marc has written three books on grief, along with numerous articles and book chapters.
