Assistant Cemetery Superintendent (Bangor, ME)
Mount Hope Cemetery, the second oldest garden cemetery in the country, has an opening for the Assistant Superintendent. This position is responsible for coordinating all clerical activities in the organization, optimizing office workflow and record keeping, and acting on behalf of the superintendent when and where necessary.
The successful candidate will demonstrate his/her ability to deal with a wide variety of tasks and situations.
Education: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or extensive related experience and/or training.
Computer: Must be familiar with standard office productivity software including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Certificates and Licenses: valid driver’s license and must hold or be able to hold a Notary Public Certificate. A Crematory Operator’s Certificate will also be required.
Salary and Benefits
Compensation will be based upon education and experience. Mount Hope Cemetery Corp. offers a complete fringe package with 401K, Health Insurance, and vacation and holidays.
